In Managemate, users can share their progress or other updates on their work by adding status updates to an activity. Status updates are consolidated and shared with other users in digest emails, which are sent daily at 5 pm or weekly on Friday's at 5 pm (subject to a user's opting out of the emails via their notification settings).
By using status updates, managers and directors don't have to be concerned about inundating their team with updates by email. Emails get lost over time, unlike Managemate's status updates, which are organized by topic, vendor, document and activity.
How to Log a Status Update
From the dashboard of the Managemate Application
Click on Log an Activity Update
Search for the activity by name and select it, or create a new activity
Write the status update you want to share - For example, explain what has happened since the last update, what’s next, and any related new information.
(optional) Link a document that relates to your update
(optional) Send the status update to other users in your account immediately, via email.
Click Save Update
