An activity is an individual task or event that takes place on a single day or over a short time span. Activities can be used to track tasks, like getting 3 quotes, investigating a water leak, or an action item from a board meeting. Activities can also be used to schedule an event like a board meeting, maintenance work performed by a vendor.
The management reports tab is designed to summarize activities related to managing a property or project. Here activities are organized in a report format that can be reviewed or exported, allowing board members and managers to easily track the status, priority, and details of various tasks. This can be especially useful for board meetings or management reviews, where a concise overview of ongoing and completed activities is needed.
Your Managemate calendar
Conveniently located on every page, access your condominium’s central calendar to see what your board and management team are working on, by clicking on your user icon.
From your calendar you can view tasks and events, update activities and create new ones.
Viewing tasks and events in the calendar
Click on an activity name to view some basic information, such as the activity’s due date, status (e.g. to do or complete) and assignees. Clicking on the circle will mark an activity as “Complete”.
Updating activities in the calendar
Click on the edit icon when viewing an activity from the calendar to modify basic information. Other information can be updated by clicking "Edit All Fields".
Creating new activities from the calendar
Clicking on the green “+” at the top right of your calendar will open a Create Activity pop-up where you can enter all the details for your new task or activity. Learn how to fill in information for an activity here.
Where to find activity lists and reports
On the Dashboard
A summary of active activities is listed in the Dashboard, noting the priority, assignees and due dates of the activities. This list can be sorted by priority and status.
You can click on an activity’s name to view its details.
In the Activity section
To view a completed list of activities, navigate to the activities tab in the menu sidebar.
There are 3 tabs under the Activity section from where you can access your activities. Each tab categorizes and sorts the activities in a unique manner, allowing quick access to every activity, depending on your situation.
Table view
Table view is the default way activities are displayed. Each column is interactive so you can click into the column to make quick changes to your activity.
The table view lays out all the information in one table, just use the scroll bar to see all the details of the activity, from asignee(s), to due date, to status updates, everything is available to edit with a few clicks.
List View
List view is helpful for checking on activity updates, upcoming, and overdue tasks.
List view splits activities into sections; the first section displays all activities and their most recent status update, allowing you to quickly keep up with any updates to your tasks and events, followed by an overdue, upcoming, and completed section.
You can go from list view to edit or view mode by clicking the green arrow in the “actions” column. This will allow you to edit the details of the activity, including linking other records, modifying the activity’s description, or leave status updates.
Management Report
Management report is like list view, however, instead of the top section displaying activities with the most recent status updates, it displays three sections: activity for board discussion, activity for board decision, and activity deferred.
