What is Managemate’s Cross‑Linking Records Feature
Managemate’s Cross-Linking feature is one of its most powerful assets. It allows users to connect different records such as documents, invoices, activities, projects, and vendors. This means no duplicate entries, better organization, and a more efficient workflow.
How to Link Document and Invoice Records to an Activity, Project, or Vendor in the Managemate Application
Navigate and access the activity, project, or vendor record’s landing page
Go to the Invoices or Documents tab
Click Add Invoice/Document, then choose whether you want to link a new or existing record.
For a new invoice/document record - a creation form will appear where you can enter the required details.
For an existing invoice/document - a list of available invoice/document records will be displayed, and you can select which one to link to the Activity, Project, or Vendor.
Click the plus (+) icon to add the record.
Click Add to Record to save all the invoice/document records you want to link
How to View and Update Linked Activity, Project, or Vendor Records to a Document in Managemate Application
Navigate to the document record's landing page
Under Linked Records section, you will see existing linked project, activity, and vendor records.
Enter the record name in the text field to link either a project, activity or vendor
Click the X icon to the linked record to unlink it
How to View and Update Linked Activity, Project, or Vendor Records to an Invoice in Managemate Application
Navigate to the invoice record's landing page
Under Linked Records section, you will see existing linked project, activity, and vendor records.
Click edit icon
Enter the vendor’s name in the Link Invoice to a vendor record field you want to link
Enter the project and activity record names under the Linked Project and Activity Records section you want to link
Click the X icon to the linked record to unlink it
Click Save
