Screenshots of Managemate's mobile application are used in this help article because inspections are normally conducted in the field / on-site at a property with a user's mobile phone.
When working with inspection activities on a laptop or desktop computer, similar steps apply.
1. In the Dashboard of the condominium's Managemate workspace, click the Create New dropdown.
Activities can also be created from the Calendar or Activities section of the workspace.
2. Select the Create an Activity (Inspection) menu option that appears in the dropdown.
When creating or editing an activity from anywhere in your Managemate workspace, you can change the activity's Type at any time. The Activity Type can be a Task, Event or Inspection.
3. Enter a Name for the inspection activity and any other details, such as the Activity Dates or recurrence frequency, as appropriate.
All fields are optional, other than the Activity Name.
4. Click the Create button to save your new activity.
The system will process for a moment, then a chicklet at the bottom left of your page will appear with a link to your new activity. Your activity will be visible in the Calendar.
