The Daily Agenda is an email that arrives each morning and tells you what is happening at a condo that day. It was previously called the reminder email.
You receive one Daily Agenda per condo. If you have access to several condos, you receive a separate email for each one, and the contents are never mixed.
When you will receive it
The Daily Agenda arrives at 7:00 AM (Eastern Time) and covers that same day.
You receive one email per condo you have access to.
Your Daily Agenda only includes records you have permission to view. Two people at the same condo may receive different emails.
If nothing is coming up that day, no email is sent.
What is inside
The email opens with the condo name, then lists everything happening that day in four sections.
Activities, for activities due today or starting today
Projects, for projects starting today or ending today
Invoices, for invoices due today
Contracts, for active contracts expiring today or renewing today
Each item shows the record type icon, its name, the assignee, its tags, and its current status. Where an item is due at a specific time, the time is shown.
A badge on the right of each item tells you what is happening to it:
Due, for a task or inspection due today
Due at, followed by a time, where a specific time is set
Starts, for an item beginning today
Ends, for an event or project finishing today
Expires, for an active contract reaching its expiry date today
Renews, for an active contract reaching its renewal date today
Some items that need your attention
Below the four sections there is a short block of counts. These are not items happening today. They are items that have been waiting.
Overdue shows the number of activities and projects that are past their date and not complete
Needs update shows the number of unscheduled activities that have gone 14 days or more without a status update, and the number of active contracts that have already expired
An activity with no due date is never technically late, so nothing else in Managemate flags it. The Needs update count is how those activities surface.
To act on them, open the Unscheduled tab in the calendar from your Dashboard. Each activity there shows how long it has been without a status update, and you can sort the list by that.
What is not included
Status updates and notes are not included. The Daily Agenda tells you what is scheduled, not what was written. Status updates and notes appear in the Daily Digest and the Weekly Digest.
Items due tomorrow are not included. The Daily Agenda covers today.
If you have access to several condos
You will receive one Daily Agenda for each condo, and they arrive together. For a manager carrying a dozen properties, that is a dozen emails in the same minute.
If that is your situation, consider Portfolio Overview as well. It is a single email covering every condo you have access to, showing counts rather than item detail, so you can decide which property to open first.
Most managers receive both, and read Portfolio Overview first. It tells them which properties need attention that day, which turns the individual agendas into a reference they open for the two or three properties that matter, rather than a queue to work through.
How this differs from the other emails
Daily Agenda, 7:00 AM, one per condo, covering what is happening today
Portfolio Overview, 6:45 AM, one email for all condos, counts only
Daily Digest, 5:00 PM, one per condo, covering the last 24 hours
Weekly Digest, Friday 5:00 PM, one per condo, covering the last 7 days and the next 7
How to turn it on or off
Log in to your Managemate account
Click your user profile icon in the top right of any page, then select View Profile
Select the Notifications tab
Under Reminders, find Daily Agenda
Turn Email on or off
Green means on. Grey means off.
Every Daily Agenda also has a Manage your notification settings link at the bottom, which takes you to the same place.
Your notification settings apply to every Workspace you have access to. You cannot set a different Daily Agenda preference for one condo and not another.
On mobile: the settings page works the same way. Push notifications only work on mobile devices, and require the Managemate mobile application to be installed with notifications allowed on your device.
