What and How Notification Channels work in Managemate

Review how each notification channel communicates updates to ensure you remain informed while minimizing excessive or redundant alerts.

Notification Channels in Managemate

Managemate has three notification channels that you can use and manage conveniently.

  • Email

  • In-app

  • Push

Each channel delivers updates differently and serves a unique purpose.

Notification Channel Features and its Definitions

Email Notifications

Email notifications are sent directly to your registered email. You’ll receive email notifications for important updates such as:

  • Mentions – Instant email notifications sent when someone tags you in a record note using the “@” symbol.

  • Daily and Weekly Digest

  • Reminders

  • Events

Daily Digest - by enabling this option, you’ll receive a summary notification sent to your registered email address once a day. It includes important updates in records such as:

  • Overdue activities

  • Status updates (for activities)

  • Completed activities

  • Completed projects

  • New projects

  • New invoices

  • New vendors

  • New documents

Note: Daily digest includes all record updates that occurred in the last 24 hours for the sections listed above and is sent every day at 5:00 PM EST

Weekly Digest - by enabling this option, you’ll receive a summary notification sent to your registered email address once a week. It includes important updates in records such as:

  • Status Updates (for activities)

  • Items Needs Attention (overdue activities and projects)

  • Completed Activities & Projects

  • Coming Up Next Week (includes all upcoming activities, projects, and overdue records such as vendor contracts that are about to expire or renew next week)

Note: Weekly digest updates that happened within the week for the sections listed above. It is sent every Friday at 5:00 PM EST and provides updates from Saturday to Thursday.

Reminders - By enabling this option, you’ll receive an email reminder notification sent to your registered email address for activities coming up today. Reminders are always sent at 7:00 AM EST.

Events – By enabling this option, you’ll receive an email for an events happening in real time.

  • Event Types

    • Invoice Requests – an instant email notification is sent when an invoice requires user approval.

    • Invoice Status Changes – an instant email notification is sent when the status of an invoice changes to approved or declined.

    • Assignee Changes – An instant email notification is sent when the assignee of an activity change.

In-app & Push Notifications

In-app notification - displays alerts directly inside Managemate. By enabling this option, all notifications will be captured, ensuring you don’t miss any updates on your records

Push notification - this notification only works on mobile devices.
